The " W " Mandrel is recommended to be set below 1000 feet when plugging the well and is designed to hold pressure differential from below only. The tool can be set or retrieved by wireline under pressure. An element expander in the "W" Mandrel compresses a sealing element against the tubing for a seal. The "W" Mandrel is made of heat treated 17-4 Stainless Steel. |
